History & Vision
From a one-person design service to a digital-native manufacturing business.
Where we started
JointWerks started as Noah John Design, where founder Noah Donsig offered custom mechanical design to companies without the capability or capacity to do it themselves. That work put him deep inside the local manufacturing ecosystem, turning digital designs into real metal parts.
It also showed him where the process broke down. Information moved slowly, updates were hard to get, and buyers spent too much time chasing suppliers.
Building the platform
Noah teamed up with high-school friend Nicholas Porter, a computer engineer, to explore what software could remove those bottlenecks. They spent two years building the product that became ManuConnect in 2024.
Noah incorporated JointWerks in December 2024, after four years as Noah John Design. In 2026, Kyle Magalhaes joined as Co-Founder and COO and Andrew Dekker as Co-Founder and CIO, and ManuConnect became part of JointWerks.
Where we are going
Today JointWerks serves 30+ active customers and manages 100+ products and large projects through its own digital-native manufacturing system. Our vision is a manufacturing experience where buyers see exactly what is happening with their parts, from first drawing to delivery.
